Theft From Motor Vehicle - Spare Wheel Stolen on Montem Road, New Malden,KT3

Dear Resident,

The following Theft from motor vehicle occurred on Sunday 24th August 2025 and Monday 25th August 2025  on Montem Road, New Malden,KT3 whereby the victim parked their White Ford Transit van by unknown suspect/s cutting cable and taking spare wheel from underneath victims vehicle.

Crime Prevention advice: To prevent theft of an under-van spare wheel from a Ford Transit, install a spare wheel guard that secures the wheel and only allows release from inside the vehicle. Thieves often cut the Bowden cable holding the wheel, but the guard prevents access to the cable, making removal impossible from outside.
